July 9, 2026
If you live in the Grove, you have probably noticed that the calendar between June and July 2026 does not look like a normal Miami summer. There are more programmed hours on the waterfront than there have been in years, and the new restaurants opening this season are all clustering within a short walk of the bay rather than along the retail spine of Grand Avenue. That is the story worth telling. The events are not scattered. They are pulling the neighborhood's center of gravity toward Dinner Key.
The Grove's summer is being organized around three anchors within a half mile of each other: Peacock Park, Regatta Grove, and the Mayfair courtyard. Almost everything worth walking to this month is happening inside that triangle.
The World Cup final falls on July 19, and the Grove's public programming is built to close with it. Between now and then, the notable dates for someone already living here are tight and geographically compact.
